Terms of Use
Creating an account constitutes acceptance of these Terms and acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy. Keep a copy: the version shown when you accept is the applicable version.
1. Publisher and service
Rtriv is operated by Benoit Gainnier, an individual entrepreneur (EI), under the trade name Rtriv. Contact: contact@rtriv.io.
Rtriv lets users save links and screenshots, add notes, organise and share content and, where available, receive automatically generated enrichments.
2. Account, security and minimum age
You must provide accurate information, safeguard your credentials and promptly report unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity from your account except fraudulent use not attributable to you.
You must be at least 13. If your local law requires consent from a legal guardian, obtain it before creating an account.
3. Permitted use
Use Rtriv only for lawful personal purposes and in compliance with third-party rights, these Terms and the Community Guidelines.
- Do not disrupt, bypass, probe or compromise the service or its security.
- Do not automate abusive access, impersonate anyone or use the service for spam.
- Do not publish or share illegal content or content infringing another person’s rights.
4. Links, screenshots, notes and shared content
You remain responsible for links, screenshots, notes, comments, profiles and other material you upload, create or share. You must have the necessary rights and understand that a source may change or disappear.
You retain your rights. You grant Rtriv a non-exclusive, worldwide licence, limited to the time necessary, to technically host, reproduce, process and display that material to provide the service and sharing features you select.
5. Intellectual property
The app, website, software, interfaces, brand and Rtriv-owned content are protected. Only a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable right to use the service under these Terms is granted. Third-party content belongs to its respective owners.
6. Social features and conduct
Some features let you follow profiles, share or report content and interact with others. Respect their privacy and the Community Guidelines.
- Prohibited conduct includes harassment, hate or discrimination, threats, sexual exploitation, privacy violations, impersonation, copyright infringement, illegal content, spam and false reports.
7. Reporting, blocking and moderation
Use the in-app reporting and blocking tools or email contact@rtriv.io. Rtriv may review strictly necessary material, restrict visibility, remove material or act on an account. A report does not guarantee removal; context, severity and recurrence are considered.
8. Suspension, termination and appeals
Rtriv may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate an account for a violation, security risk, legal duty or abuse. Urgent or legally required action may be immediate. Where possible, the reason and duration will be communicated.
Appeal within 30 days at contact@rtriv.io, stating the account address, decision and supporting information. Where reasonably possible, someone other than the original decision-maker will review it.
9. Availability and changes
Rtriv uses reasonable efforts to provide the service but does not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, incidents, third-party platform changes and force majeure may affect it. Material changes to these Terms will be announced with reasonable notice and may require renewed acceptance.
10. Third-party content and AI enrichments
Rtriv does not publish or control linked pages. Their availability, legality and accuracy are their publishers’ responsibility. AI-generated summaries, titles, transcripts, classifications and answers may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated: verify them against the source; they are not professional advice.
A notice in the three-dot menu indicates when content is AI-generated. More information is available in the app’s Legal Centre. Data disclosures are described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Deletion and data recovery
You can delete items or request account deletion in the app. Manually save anything you wish to keep before deleting your account. Account deletion becomes irreversible after the technical period stated in the Privacy Policy; Rtriv does not guarantee recovery of deleted data.
12. Liability
Each party is responsible for direct loss it causes under applicable law. Rtriv is not responsible for third-party content, decisions made solely from unverified automated enrichments, or damage caused by use contrary to these Terms. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or mandatory consumer rights and guarantees.
13. Governing law and disputes
French law governs these Terms. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence or access to courts having jurisdiction under applicable rules.
First contact contact@rtriv.io to seek an amicable solution. Eligible consumers may then use the mediator identified in the Legal Notice, free of charge and subject to applicable conditions.
